Happy New Year Clip Art

Just dropped by Squidoo to look for free clip art and found lots of free images and borders at Happy New Year Clip Art.

When you visit a site with free clip art, be sure to read and follow the terms of use for each graphic. Some sites permit you to use their clip art only on personal projects, or for classroom or other non-profit use.

You can use free clip art to decorate your blog or web site as long as the terms of service say it's okay. If you have any doubts, contact the artist or copyright owner to request permission.

Don't post free clip art you find online on your blog as a free download. Link a small clip you like from your blog or personal web site to the URL (page) where you found the original graphic. Don't use the image URL to post the graphic on your site without permission.

Use a trackback or other widget to create a link to the owner's post. You'll avoid copyright problems (or possible legal hassles and fines) and you'll be giving credit to the artist who made the original clip art and posted it for everyone to use.
